Anna Catharina Padberg, (b. April 11, 1841) was the daughter of Johann Wilhelm Padberg (b. December 19, 1809, in Werden, and Gertrud Volman (b. March 17, 1817). Johann Wilhelm and Gertrud had seven children, three sons and four daughters. For some reason, the three sons were given the surname spelling of Pattberg while the daughters were all baptized with the surname spelled Padberg. Anna Catharina married Wilhelm Weller. They had five children, four sons and one daughter. They left Borbeck, Westfalia, in the 1880’s and immigrated to Pennslyvania. They then moved to Arkansas. Wilhelm Weller died in 1888. Anna Catharina married a second time to Johann Bechfeld. Anna Catharina is a sister to Herman Pattberg, Branch U.

• 4. Hermann Pattberg (b. 1846 – d. 1918). Married Marie Louise Schmitz. They immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1881 and are Branch U.
• 5. Wilhelm Pattberg (b. March 6, 1849 – d. June 18, 1849).
• 6. Elizabeth Padberg born May 16, 1851 in Bottrop. She married Wilhelm Beckfeld on November 9, 1871 in Essen-Borbeck. The had five children. There is no record of these three sons and two daughters.
• 7. Maria Christina Padberg (b. May 17, 1854). She married Heinrich Rose. No known children.
