Heinrich Pattberg (1796-1853 at sea) Branch H is the son of Philipp Pattberg (1766-1843) born in Hessloh near Worms and died in Darmstadt, Hessia. Philipp’s wife is not known. Philipp and his wife had a second son, Hilarius (1798-1876).

Heinrich married Suzanne Magdalene Hahn (b. 1815) and they had four sons: Heinrich Jacob (b. 1840), Ludwig Christoph (b. 1841), Hilarius (b. 1851) and Johann Philipp (1851-1920). Heinrich and his oldest son, Heinrich Jacob, immigrated in 1853, but Heinrich senior died at sea. Heinrich Jacob settled in Jersey City, New Jersey. The second son of Heinrich and Suzanne, Ludwig Christoph, immigrated in 1858. Heinrich’s wife, Suzanne, and the two youngest sons, Hilarius and Johann Philipp also immigrated to New Jersey in 1858. There are some records of the descendants of the two younger sons, but there is no current information on this branch.
